The EC28 Transmitter is manufactured by Gesellschaft f?r Ger?tebau, and is an instrument engineered for safe monitoring in environments with gas hazards. Enclosed in an IP64 protected casing, the instrument features an ambient temperature of -20?C..+50?C and an output signal of 4-20 mA.

An electrochemical sensor is used as the instrument's detection principle. Safe operation is possible through the instrument's ATEX-certified design, built-in EX-certified horn, and bright LED lights. With less wiring requirements, the instrument's sensor exchange is completed through plug-in sensors. A status and function display are also directly presented on the transmitter. Users can calibrate the settings without opening the casing. In inaccessible places, operation is still possible through an optional remote control.

The EC28 transmitter has nine versions that are designed for compatibility with various applications.
